These folks give great service.
The closing includes blowing the lines, plugging the intakes & outtakes, and importantly a winterizing kit (chemicals etc.) and a majority of times a 4 mil poly tarp.
After filling the pool then removing the cover on my own after winter, I bring a water sample in to have it tested.

After following the instructions given by Somertime, it takes a little over 1 week to get the pool in a usable state. That includes if any readings are way out of balance, they provide appropriate actions and sell needed chemicals to normalize it.
When I open the pool, I schedule the closing to guarantee a date, if not I'd possibly need to keep it opened a few weeks longer than expected.
They did a great job on replacing the liner.
The water testing system they use has changed a few times over the many years I have been using them.
The chemical testing and supplies and retail (rafts, minor parts) sections of the store are good too.
A pool tarp usually lasts about a year and 80% of the pool bags last through the off-season the others don't due to age, freezing or animals.

In 2008 we had a beautiful in-ground salt water pool installed at our home..now with this we expected the company whom installed our pool to take care of ALL our pool needs, from opening & closing (which is not cheap if I might add) any maintenance etc. Well, with somertime pools this has NOT been the case. especially when it comes to maintenance!..i was soo unhappy with the service department after the first 2 years and switched to another local pool company in the Millville area, (Landi Pools). and that turned out to be a bigger nightmare than dealing with somertime!..so back to Somertime (I have no choice)..I have my pool opening scheduled for today, now when the gentlemen get to my house they see that their is a little more involved than just a simple opening, its very hot, they immediately don't want to take the time to service my pool now, they want to pass it off to Scott (which has ABSOLUTELY no people skills whatsoever), who in turn now wants to partially open my pool, pull cover back and leave my pool liner exposed to the sun 24/7 because now he doesn't know when they can get back to service my pool..this is every single year! an issue, scott is absolutely unprofessional and unorganized it seems! When u initially spend THOUSANDS of dollars having pool installed Jim the owner is allll about making sure u r happy, but after that u would think, he thinks anyway, that he's the president of the united states, you cant even get him on the telephone to express any concerns or problems with his business or employees! Somertime Pools have lost me forever as a customer, and I will never ever refer them to anyone! got a beautiful pool and No good service with the only 2 pool companies in Millville!!! After 9 years of having our pool to enjoy we WILL NOT be able to enjoy this year! :(
