I work here so I'm biased in that sense. Good for cheap groceries but not sure always the cheapest. Overall good place for getting most essentials including an impressive selection of socks. The music isn't always as family friendly as one would expect. I personally wish there were more specialized foods for unique meals. Still an okay selection.

I ordered quite a bit of food from the catering department for a family holiday party and they did a great job. This is my third year ordering and I'll definitely be back next year.
The prices here are competitive with other like supermarkets. They have a good selection of grocery items, as well as other household products. The Digital Coupon feature offers an additional way to save. Choose which coupon(s) you'd like to redeem and it loads it to your Shoprite card. Also, there are usually open registers for checkout. The cashiers stand at the entrance to the line and invite you to their register. I noticed this during the holiday season. I'm not certain if they do this year round.
